Dear Luther College is celebrating its 100th Anniversary and with this milestone, Luther would like to reach out and connect with its alumni. We are also in the process of creating a strategic plan for the next five years and would like to gather information from you, our alumni on your thoughts and experiences as a Luther student. We have developed a five minute survey that will help determine the best way to move forward as we continue into the future. Respondents to the survey will be eligible for a 1 in 10 chance of winning a copy of Rev Dr Richard Hordern's book on Luther College's 100th Anniversary. The synopsis below is prepared by Dr Hordern: 2013 marks the centennial anniversary of Luther College. Starting its humble roots in Melville Saskatchewan, the idea of Luther College expanded to the provincial capital. In 1971 Regina Campus was establish and federated with the University of Regina. Rev Dr Richard Hordern, a current faculty member and former President of Luther College, delves into the rich history of these past one hundred years and offers his understanding of the changes and challenges the College has undergone, and how the College has played such a vital role in education within Saskatchewan. A wonderful opportunity to explore Luther's heritage and bright future as it continues to lead future students in academic excellence. (Expected Value $30-40).
